Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only to have fun or to aid in development but instead, she must take it seriously. In order to do so she started writing her own songs that were her own creations. Her inspirations include famous writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love for Bjork's style. Responding to her mother's suggestions that her children should not be aiming to be famous through their songwriting skills, she instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. Piano was her first instrument when she was six. She began writing music when she turned nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she was fourteen. It was never a dream to become Aurora. Aurora claims she loves composing music. For her, music is the most efficient means of communicating anything.
