Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is a professor at University of California Davis. Her name is widely praised as the pioneer of modern research of eyewitness memory in children as well as using children who have been abused to testify as legal witnesses. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with many publications and many awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous national and global prizes. She has offered advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments from all over the world. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center, formerly The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
