Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a child. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in December 2009 following a civil ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk gave birth to the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social networks.
